How we make money (affiliate disclosure)

The short version

Some links on this site are, or will become, affiliate links. If you click one and then buy, the company pays us a commission. You don't pay any more. Every such link has a label right next to it, and any page that contains them has a notice at the top.

Where we stand today (26 October 2026)

We have not joined any affiliate programme yet. The labelled links currently go to each vendor's normal website and earn us nothing. For now they're labelled Ad · affiliate link (not yet active), so the label is already in place and honest about the current position. On the day a link starts paying us, its label changes to Ad · paid link, pages built around those links get "Ad" at the start of their title and heading, and this page will name the programme and the date we joined.

Our rules

• Commission never changes a verdict. If a free plan, a non-affiliate tool or no tool at all is the better answer, we say so.
• Labels sit next to the link and at the top of the page, never only in a footer.
• We don't accept payment for placement or reviews.
• Advertising and affiliate content follows the UK CAP Code (ASA guidance on affiliate marketing) and the US FTC Endorsement Guides.

We're not an Amazon Associate today. If we join, this page will carry Amazon's required statement.
